GURU-8

He is the "GURU" of all the worlds in the entire creation.
We have to know some thing about the creation before knowing his greatness.
Let us start from here.
This is "BHOOLOKAM".
Next higher is "BHUVARLOKAM".
Above this is "SUVARLOKAM".
Higher to this is "MAHARLOKAM".
The one higher to this is "JANALOKAM".
Higher to this is "TAPOLOKAM".
The highest in this Order is "SATYALOKAM".
These are called as "HIGH SEVEN".

GURU-7

Countless number of persons achieved "MOKSHA" by adopting one or all the three types of serving "GURU".
The History of Hindu Religious literature in all the languages of Bharath bears testemony to this fact.
The "GURU PARAMPARA" of Advaita Tradition starts with MOUNA GURU SRI.DAKSHINAA MOORTHY.
MOUNAM means deep and absolute silence.
This Guru sits under a Banyan Tree.
He is young.
His disciples are old.
He teaches through MOUNAM.
The disciples are cleared off of all the doubts risen in their mind and got absolute peace and MOKSHA.
This is the greatest wonder.

GURU-6

The Lineage of Gurus in Hindu tradition is called as "GURU PARAMPARA".
There are several paths of worship in Hindu tradition.
Each and every path is having its' own "GURU PARAMPARA".
There are several thought processes also  in Hindu traditon.
Each and every thought process is having its' own "GURU PARAMPARA" too.
The paths of worship are called as "MATHAAS".
The thought processes are called as "DARSANAAS".
Every path of worship or thought process,if properly initiated by a competent "GURU" and practiced sincerly with devotion and faith, will lead to salvation of human miseries and finally give salvation from the cycle of birth and death itself to the practitioner.
This final salvation is called as "MOKSHAA.

GURU-5

"There is nothing more superior than Guru".Thus declares GURU GEETAA.
"If Lord SIVA gets angered with the disciple,GURU will save him. But, if GURU gets angered, there is no one to save him. Thus ascertains GURU GEETAA.
One has to become learned by doing either or all of these three things:-
1.By serving him.
2.By offering Valuable treasures and wealth at his feet.
3.By teaching him one type of learning and learn another type from him.
There is no other way than the above mentioned three ways for an individual to become a Scholar,Intellectual and man of wisdom.

GURU-4

The word "GURU" is the compound of two words.
They are "GU" and "RU".
GU means darkness.
RU means remover of that.
One who removes the darkness of ignorance so that the light of wisdom will effulge is named as GURU.
The glory of GURU is defined in detail in GURU GEETAA.
This is in the SANATHKUMARA SAMHITAA of  SKAANDA PURAANAM.
SKAANDAM is the biggest PURAANAM   out of  all the HINDU PURAANAAS.

GURU-3

"GURU PADUKA" is more powerful than the Guru himself.
"GURU PADUKA" is to be meditated in the centre of the Full Moon.
The Moon is in the top of the head of man according to Yogic Traditons and Practice in Bharath from time immemorial.
The Mantra Sastra also coofirms this and conforms with this practice.
